My Thoughts:
The animation in this series is so clean-cut and vibrant, almost everything is eyecandy. I especially love the character designs and how richly detailed everything is from the first episode to the last. Not only that, there are lots of bishounen here (horray for bishounen!). I especially love Tsuzuki's chibi dog moments where he gets the desperate puppy eyes and does the cute gestures. The only thing that would prevent some people from watching this title, however, is its Shounen-ai content. If that can be overlooked though, then you'll be in for a treat. The story starts off with a vampire case, but it later goes into a deeper plot as new characters arrive, showing how they all tie together. This series is full of stunning visuals, animation and a gripping story. The seiyuu cast did a great job portraying everything very well from screams to cries. However, the opening song can be a little "off", but not enough to stray the viewer away. I prefer the Japanese seiyuu instead of the dub, because they didn't find an English voice actor fitting for Hisoka so it can really ruin the good moments...

My Final Opinion: If you're into Mystery and love vampires, demons, blood, etc., and are able to handle some Shounen-ai, then you'll really enjoy this series!
