My Thoughts:
Ever since I heard about this series before it was released in the US, I was anticipated to see it. The character and art appealed to me, especially how there was a human and wolf form for the main characters. After seeing the first episode, I was stunned by the detailed, crisp, animation and the beautiful music. This is a series that has a sort of similar feel to Cowboy Bebop in a way in how it appeals to older audiences and features some mature themes. The real-time feel, yet outworldly design of the setting makes it interesting and surreal. The action sequences are also very well done as well as the very well portrayed wolf animations. There are many memorable scenes that are very dramatic and moving, so this is nott o be missed.
The story brings up many mysteries and questions as the main protagonist encounters new people as he strives to find Paradise. I think Kiba's determination is strong and his sense of pride is unwavering, no matter what hardships lie ahead of him. Not only that but he will go out of his way to help his friends when they are in danger, even when he appears to stray from the group. A very likeable character. This is a fairly medium paced show yet there is a clear goal they are all seeking for. I think anyone who appreciates a more mature and serious yet enjoyable series would find this to be an instant favorite.

My Final Opinion: A beautiful series, especially if you love wolves, however, slightly for a more mature audience. With beautiful music, stunning animation, and a gripping story, you'll want to see it til the end.
