You may have encountered certain characters that have resembled each other a lot in appearance, whether it's from anime or video games, etc. But here are the ones I spotted that I thought not only looked very alike, but also had very similar traits and other attributes as well. ^_^
Takuto Kira (Full Moon wo Sagashite) and Taikoubou (Soul Hunter)
A pair I got confused with myself way before I knew about the names of these series. XD I always came across pictures of Taikouboui randomly in the past and thought he looked so similar to the pictures of Takuto, who I saw later on o_o (and even thought it was the same guy). But after much researching, I finally found out that they came from different shows entirely. XD
Reasons:- Both have a very similar hair styles in the front and a very grayish tint to their hair color.
- They both have some kind of "cat-ears head gear." XD While Takuto wears a hat with cat ears, in Taikoubou's case, however, it may be just the ways he ties the large bandana on his head that looks like ears. XD
- Both have similar attire. Some kind of blue and white color scheme with a high-neck shirt underneath a jacket as well as wearing some kind of gloves.
- Both aren't human. Takuto is a Shinigami while Taikobois is a Senin (Immortal).
- They both have names beginning with 'Ta' followed by a 'k' and 'o' somewhere along the way. XDD
- Similar personalities, both may seem a bit lazy or laid back, but they also have a determined side and don't like to lose.
- Taikoubou can definitely pass for Takuto's brother. o_o
Trowa Barton (Gundam Wing) and Yang (Street Fighter III 3rd Strike)
Since I'm a big fan of Gundam Wing and also happen to have the 3rd strike game, I immediately saw the resemblance as plain as DAY when I saw Yang. XD I don't think I can ever look at Yang without thinking about Trowa, at all... o_o XD
Reasons:- The "signature" hair style of the long and spiked brown hair going to one side. XD
- Very similar facial features with a slim and slightly muscular built. (The Trowa from Endless Waltz is even more like Yang's built. XD)
- Yang is also quite calm and analytical, so it's very simialr to Trowa's personality. o_o
Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) and Lucifer (Saint Beast)
This pair was spotted by amberanime. ^^
Reasons:- They both have very long hair with bangs that stick up at the top of their forehead.
- They both wear a long black coat that is opened in the front to reveal their chest, covered by crosses leather straps in some way. (Fuller body picture of Lucifer here)
- Both have black feathered wings of some kind. Although Sephiroth only has one. ^^
- Both are referred to as an 'angel' in some way. Sephiroth's theme song is called 'One-Winged Angel' while Lucifer is known as 'High Angel Lucifer.'
- Both are on the 'dark side' in some sense. XD Lucifer used to live at heaven as an angel, but was chased away to Hell, because he betrayed Zeus. And Sephiroth is the antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and is supposed to be the complete contrast to the protagonist.
