My Thoughts:
The story for this Gundam series is fairly good, and since this show was made around 1996 (after Gundam Wing), the video quality and sound quality has improved. The coloring is more vibrant and the shading is more detailed.

The main character, Garoad, kind of reminds me of Duo from Gundam Wing. His personality for one thing and his expressions are very similar to his, and sometimes he can be a little immature and act like a child, depending on the situation. What I find really unique about Garoad's Gundam is how it has a portable control unit, that can be put in and taken out easily when he's done using the Gundam. This way no random person can just go inside and try to steal the Gundam away, very handy. The character Tifia, also might be a little too serious and keeps most of everything to herself, so it doesn't quite compliment well with the other characters. Because of that, you don't know how to react to some of the things she goes through. The other characters, however, are not as memorable or as stand-out as Gundam Wing's, but they still are unique and likeable. This series seems to have a little more comedy and less intense drama than in the other Gundam series, which is a pretty good thing on a certain level. Perhaps it could be because it's taking place after a war, so they are taking it a little more easy for the time being.

My Final Opinion: This is a nice series Gundam fans will enjoy! Filled with new characters and new Gundams, there's no reason to miss out on this new experience.
