When I first saw this series on TV, it was not translated in English and I had no idea what was going on because it was near the middle of the series. However, I wanted to purchase this series as soon as I could with or without English translation, because I was so taken by the drama and comedy going on, not to mention the artwork. When I did finally come across it, I got the whole complete DVD set of the series >_>. The plot really draws you in and you will be stuck to it until you see it to the end. This series has all of the things you can find in a good title, so most fans of all genres will enjoy this one, unless you're only into high-tech, lots of violence, mecha action and things. The characters are very unique and some can be an instant favorite. The comedy scenes are also hilarious, especially with how they all turn chibi. The only reason the music didn't get a perfect 5 is because sometimes some of the background music could get overplayed or maybe just the choice of instruments just didn't fit well with certain things, but that only happens in very few scenes. And the animation also changes a little later on in the series, probably because of different animators, but it's probably due to the series length. I also like the English dub for this series. They did quite a good casting job in my opinion, and the Japanese version of course is also just as good. Since this show was very popular with fans, they made 3 OVA series that continue from the TV series. Even though the OVAs don't compare to the actual series, it does reveal much more about the characters' pasts and introduce new ones. However, I think the series itself ended well, so I would recommend it more.
My Final Opinion: A wonderfully addicting series which have always be one of my favorites. One of Yu Watase's most popular works that shouldn't be missed if you're a fan of Shoujo anime!
